In this week’s edition of ‘Voor de Ommekeer TV’/‘De Nieuwe Wereld’ on YouTube, philosopher Ad Verbrugge interviewed Douwe Lycklama, founder of INNOPAY and co-author of the management book ‘Everything Transaction’. Douwe talked about the need for business and public leaders to exhibit sustainable digital socially responsible behaviour and the importance of a new decentralised ‘soft’ infrastructure that is built by all digital actors upon principles of data sovereignty. This is necessary to offset Big Tech’s domination, rebalance the ‘data benefits’ towards companies and citizens, thereby enabling the next growth cycle of our digital economy.
‘Voor de Ommekeer TV’ is an initiative of Dutch journalist Paul van Liempt, philosopher Ad Verbrugge and David van Overbeek. It forms part of the ‘Voor de Ommekeer’ online platform, which brings together experts from different disciplines and societal domains to think about the major changes of our times with the aim of inspiring people to ‘think big’.
