What is your educational/work background?
After high school, I moved to Rotterdam to study Business Administration and Law at Erasmus University. I completed a master’s in Strategic Management and in Commercial & Company Law. In terms of professional experience, I did an internship in finance and have some work experience as a student strategy consultant.
What made you choose to work for INNOPAY?
INNOPAY’s focus on innovation and vision for the future of transactions and data strongly resonate with me. I believe that working at INNOPAY will allow me to develop expertise at the intersection of payments, technology and regulation, which are all fields of interest to me. Furthermore, each conversation I had during the application process was welcoming yet professional, which made me feel valued as a candidate and reflects the work environment at the office.
What do you think is the future of digital transactions?
While more and more transactions are being conducted digitally, the advantages of this movement currently primarily reside with large online businesses. I hope to see a future in which consumers become more aware of the digital transactions they conduct and the data they provide, without hurting online businesses.
What do you like most about strategic consulting?
Needless to say, I enjoy helping businesses solve the complex challenges they face, as this allows me to use my creativity and make real impact from day one. However, what I like most about strategic consulting is the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with highly motivated people from whom I can learn a lot!
