This Thursday, Esther Groen will present at the WebWinkelVakdagen, how Open Retail can be a competitive solution for retailers to maintain relevancy in smart home commerce. The presentation is held in light of the publication of the bluepaper “Smart home leads way for Open Retail” (in Dutch: Smarthome vraagt om Open Retail), written by the expert group The Smart Home Journey of the Shopping Tomorrow research year 2019-2020. Together with the host of the expert group, Ronald Gorter (Worldline), Esther will elaborate on how retailers can collaboratively shape Open Retail: an alternative to large commercial platforms in offering a seamless customer experience in a smart home context.
