INNOPAY to speak on data sovereignty at Finnish conference

We are pleased to announce that Mariane ter Veen, Director Data Sharing at INNOPAY, will be speaking at the High-Level Conference on Data Economy, which will take place from 25-26 November 2019 in Helsinki, Finland. The conference is being organised by the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Education and Culture.

The High-Level Conference on Data Economy will cover a broad spectrum of aspects relating to the data economy in order to showcase solutions and define the principles for a sustainable, competitive and human-driven data economy. The programme is focused on the theme of the human-centric data economy featuring the public and private sectors, non-governmental organisations and society in general.

The conference will bring together an influential group of around 400 high-level attendees representing the EU Member States and EU institutions as well as business, the economy and civil society in Europe to discuss and shape the principles for the future development of the European data economy.

Mariane has been invited to speak at the conference on the subject of data sovereignty: how organisations can benefit from the opportunities that the transactional internet offers by giving control back to their clients.
