What is your educational/work background?
After completing my BSc in Science & Innovation Management at Utrecht University with a minor in Entrepreneurship, I chose to pursue my interest in innovation by doing an MSc in Management of Innovation at Erasmus University, Rotterdam School of Management. I spent some time travelling around Central America immediately after finishing my studies but it is now time for me to take on a new challenge and, fortunately, I’ve been welcomed to do so by INNOPAY.
What made you choose to work for INNOPAY?
During my studies, a few of my courses included working on a number of strategic consultancy projects and I felt like they were the most exciting courses. After deciding to look for a job in the consultancy area, I soon found out about INNOPAY. I immediately got excited because of its innovation-focused projects, its vision on building tomorrow’s world, the entrepreneurial culture and the learning potential this company holds for me. The people within INNOPAY were really welcoming, and I felt like INNOPAY could not only offer me a motivational workplace, but a fun one as well!
What do you think is the future of digital transactions?
I think the future of digital transactions will entail more trust and convenience for users. I believe the knowledge about – and possibilities of – digital transactions will be developed further and faster every day, maximising value creation for the world around us.
What do you like most about strategic consulting?
Strategic consulting poses new challenges every day and empowers you to constantly learn new things. The projects, sectors and clients that you get to work with are super diverse. This allows you to continuously develop your knowledge and ensures that there is never a dull moment. Consequently, every project feels like a new job, as you’re constantly challenged to push your limits. Additionally, I really like the out-of-the-box thinking that is necessary to tackle the challenges that clients face. It calls for creativity and teamwork daily and motivates you to go beyond your own – and your colleagues’ – first thoughts.
