What is your educational/professional background?
I hold degrees in international business administration, marketing management and philosophy, and I came to the Netherlands from Kazakhstan to study international studies at Erasmus University, Rotterdam School of Management. So I have a diverse background in management studies with a focus on digital innovation, data analytics and the social impact of artificial intelligence (AI). In parallel, as a student I led a sustainability initiative aimed at reducing plastic waste, and I also worked on academic projects as an assistant.
What made you choose to work for INNOPAY?
From the very beginning, INNOPAY stood out to me as a very dynamic, versatile and innovative company. I really liked the company’s strategic vision and pioneering projects with the power to reshape industries and deliver value to clients. Also, a big factor for me was the friendly and supportive atmosphere. It felt like a place where initiative is celebrated and creative ideas are welcomed. Personally, I find it stimulating to work with such a diverse group of people who are united by a shared vision, so I was eager to join.
What do you think is the future of digital transactions?
I believe digital transactions will inevitably become faster, safer and more secure. The future of digitalisation will bring about highly transparent supply chains, which will enable more efficient ways of organising the circular and sharing economies. The growth of community-based business models and ecosystems will open up further possibilities for various types of collaboration. All that, hopefully, can drive sustainable and equitable development in the years to come.
What do you like most about strategic consulting?
The role of a strategic consultant really excites me due to the impact I can make during my projects. Working with different stakeholders and partners helps me to think on a broader scale, venture outside the predefined frameworks and push horizons. The diversity and abundance of knowledge that I can get on a daily basis motivates me to take on new responsibilities. Summing up, this field of work gives me the possibility to be part of a systemic change towards a more sustainable future.
