What is your background?
After gaining a bachelor’s in economics and business economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, I took a gap year and did an internship at KPN as an innovation scout. I am currently completing the final modules of my master’s in data science and marketing analytics, also at Erasmus University, but I am postponing my thesis for a year to give me the chance to gain some experience abroad.
What made you choose to work for INNOPAY?
The main thing that attracted me to INNOPAY was the fact that the company is very innovation- and tech-driven. Learning about topics like Data Sharing, Payments and Digital Identity will be useful for the rest of my career. Moreover, at INNOPAY I am on a steep learning curve, which is enabling me to gain lots of hands-on experience and grow professionally in a short period of time.
What do you think is the future of digital transactions?
I think digital transactions will become increasingly safe for everyone. It is already easy for data that is stored about entities to be used by different parties, but it is important that those entities can also trust that their information is securely protected and can only be used with their consent.
What do you like most about strategic consulting?
The thing I like most about strategic consulting is that you can become an expert on interesting topics very quickly. Also, there is plenty of scope for personal development and problem-solving as a team.
