The Payment Services Directive (PSD): threat or opportunity?
As of November 1, 2009 the new rules for payment services will apply. Any company offering payment services will be affected by this regulation. Changes in the processes and reporting will be required. Moreover, many service providers will need a license of their National Central Bank to continue their activities. So they will face obligations, but also opportunities: an objective of the PSD is to stimulate competition.
Innopay can help you to gain insight in the consequences of the PSD, how to find the opportunities and which activities you can develop to obtain the best results from this change.
